そもそも宴会ソングじゃない
以前、「ASKを動かすやり方はプロ市民じみているのでは」というエントリーを書いたが、その後「問題」に関して（「のまネコ」の提灯記事でなく、という意味で）Webニュース・雑誌などの取り扱いが一気に増えたところを見ると、戦法としてはかなり功を奏したようだ。
「ネット社会から抗議」ではネタにしづらくても、「NPOから抗議」ならばマスコミもネタにしやすい。時にはプロ市民のやり口も真似てみるもんかもしれない…
ASKが声明を出した直後の記事では、avex側は「まだ要望書が届いておらずコメントできない」としていたが、その後の対応はどうだったのか気にかかるところ。ASKの続報に期待しているのだが。
以前のエントリーを書いたとき、「のまのまイッキ」が実際に行われているのかどうか懐疑的だったのだが、書き込みを見ると、キャバクラや居酒屋、また子どもたちの間でも実行例が多く報告されているようだ。
中には、PTA会長が問題視してavexに問い合わせたら、「またネットからのアレか」という邪険な対応を受けて激怒したという話（「天漢日常」9/14より）も。
こういう書き方をすると、「特撮ヒーローごっこに目くじら立てて局に抗議するヒステリーな親の対応と何が違うのか」という感じにもなってくるのだが、実際、アルコールは言うに及ばず、飲料すべてにおいて「イッキ飲み」は危険な行為だ。
甘味のある清涼飲料水であれば、「糖尿病性ケトアシドーシス（いわゆるペットボトル症候群…これはまあガブ飲みが持続した場合に危険性が増すのだが）」や、急激な高血糖の可能性がある。また、甘味がなければ安全かというと、（これはかなり極端な量の摂取が元となるが）実は水だけでも中毒が引き起こされる。（過剰水分摂取により、体内のナトリウムが薄まってミネラルバランスを崩し、腎臓の利尿能力を超えた状態。「水中毒」といって、多く精神分裂病と合併するという。悪寒・嘔吐・ケイレン、最悪死に至るケースもあるらしい）
ともあれ、avex側が「ヒットやグッズ展開を秋頃までは引っ張って、年末宴会シーズンで『宴会ソング・宴会キャラ』として展開させたい」のは明らかだ。

ネットでかなり問題が大きくなっている9/16日付けの記事としては、問題から徹底して目をそむけた提灯記事っぷりがいっそアッパレな内容だ。
お父さん世代も年末の忘年会シーズンへ向け、カラオケで要チェックだが、この曲、ヒットの裏話もちょっとおもしろい。音楽業界では、洋楽のプロモーションはラジオで流す→音楽専門誌に売り込む→アーティスト来日→テレビ出演が通常の流れとされる。だがマイアヒの場合、きっかけはファンが作成した日本語の“歌詞”つき映像。それをネットで見た発売元のエイベックスが「おもしろい」とプロモーションに採用したことで、洋楽ファンを超え子どもにまで広まった。ネットがブームを先導するのは「電車男」みたいだが、エイベックスの今回のプロモーションは、六本木ヴェルファーレにキャバクラ嬢５０人を集めギョーカイ人を接待する「クラブ・マイアヒ」を開くなど、異例ずくめで、こちらも話題になっている。
キャバ嬢ねえ…いやまあ、おキレイな人が花を添えるのも戦法の一つだから、それ自体はいいのだが、そこで一つ思うのは、元々この曲って、ノリはいいけれど歌詞は「ちょっと切ない失恋の歌」だということ。モルドバのOzoneのファンがこの「飲ませコールとして売り出されている」状況を知ったらどう思うかな、と。余計なお世話かもしれないが…
ちなみに、「Dragostea Din Tei（「恋のマイアヒ」原題）」の詩についてはこちらが詳しい。
この手の「曲調は明るいが歌詞の内容的には『還らぬ恋人』を歌う曲」は、「Last Chiristmas」なんかをはじめとして、洋楽には多いのだが…
なじみの薄い語圏の曲にかけはなれたタイトルが付いてしまうのは、例えば「上を向いて歩こう」⇒「スキヤキ」のパターンが日本人にはよく知られている。
これだけ聞くと、あの名曲が「スキヤキウマー」という内容に取られてしまいそうでトホホに感じるが、実はそれなりに逸話があった。
以前NHKで放映された番組で、坂本久の娘・舞阪ゆき子氏が、「上を向いて歩こう」を海外で紹介した人たちを尋ねて当時の話を聞くという内容のものがあったのだが、それによれば、
・アメリカのヒットの前に、まずイギリスでジャズのインストゥルメンタルとしてカバーされた
・カバーしたケニー・ボール氏は、最初「上を向いて歩こう」をそのまま英訳してタイトルにしようとも思ったが、長いので何か適当な言葉がないかと考えた
・彼の知っている日本語は「サヨナラ」と「スキヤキ」だけだった。「サヨナラ」では暗すぎるし、「スキヤキ」はよく知られているし美味しいものなのでよいイメージがある…ということで「スキヤキ」にした

最初見たときはそのアバウトさに驚いたが、「スキヤキとサヨナラの二択だったらスキヤキだわなぁ」という説得力は圧倒的である。そりゃそーだ。
また、上記ブログの筆者の方の
つまり、「SUKIYAKI」という名前は、当初イギリスにおいては歌詞を必要としないインストゥルメンタルだったからこそ、その曲想に縛られずに付けられたという見方も出来るのではないか。
という指摘どおりでもあると思う。訳詩が乗ればまた違ったタイトルがついていただろうし。
どちらにしても、ボール氏が乏しい日本語ボキャブラリを総動員しつつも、この曲に最大限のリスペクトをこめたということが伝わってくるエピソードだ。
それに比較して、ネットで生まれた「空耳」に便乗し、「飲み会コール」ソングとして売り出そうとするavexのセールスには、どこにもO-Zone・原曲・原曲を愛したファンの人たちへのリスペクトが感じられない。「飲酒・イッキ飲み推奨ソング（キャラ）」として一時盛り上げて売り抜けるだけの材料であり、まるっきり「道化」でしかない。
原曲やアーティストに敬意を払わない連中が、どうして「パクリネタ元」のAAやその文化・文化の背景にあるネットワーカーに気を使うだろう。
我ながらかなり強引な比較ではあるが、ものすごくイヤな形で、「ａｖｅxがダメな対応しかしない（というか対応自体しない）」理由を納得してしまったのだった。
