asahi.com：マックＣＭ、中国で放送中止　ひざまずき「侮辱」と抗議 - 国際

　問題のＣＭでは、ＤＶＤショップを訪れた男性客が、サービス価格の期間がすでに過ぎたことを知って、店長の足元にひざまずき、ズボンにすがりついて「１週間でも、せめて３日間だけでもいいですから」とサービス期間の延長を懇願する。その後「マクドナルドはチャンスを失った心痛を理解します。３６５日のサービス価格を提供します」とのせりふが入る。

　ＣＭは四川省、陝西省、河南省など中国の一部地域で今月中旬から放映されたが、開始後間もなく、地元政府や新聞社に視聴者から「中国人をばかにされて気分が悪い」「マクドナルドは中国人にサービスを恵むのか」などの訴えが寄せられた。地元各紙も厳しく批判し、ＣＭは１週間ほどで中止に追い込まれた。

批判している連中はマクドナルド社、とりわけ「中国人の習慣を云々」と言っているところからして米国本部を批判しているつもりなのだろうけど、可笑しいのはこのCMを製作したのがアメリカ側でもなんでもなく、中国の広告代理店、ってことなのだ。
このCM製作については、NHK-BS1の番組で取り上げられたばかりだったらしい。

これNHKBSでやっていたね。

でもCM制作会社は中国だったよ。
アメリカとかユーモアのあるCMが多いから取り入れたって言ってた。

確かCM製作は中国人が請け負ったと言ってたぞ。

なんだろうこの「セルフ屈辱er」さんたちは。
よく、「ジョークやユーモアに対する許容・理解度やセンスは民度や知的レベルのバロメータである」という言い方をするが、こういうニュースを聞くと頷ける気もする。
また、中国の広告代理店がこうしたジョークへの取り組みをし、それが上記のような反応を生んだことからは、
・知的レベル・民度の明らかな二層分離化
もしのばれるし、同時に
・広告代理店が、一般民衆のレベルを見誤っていた
ということも言えるのではないだろうか。

中国に在住している方、または旅行した方の記事などを読むと、総じて中国のマックでは
・スマイルサービスは存在しない
・「並んで待つ」「順番」というマナー概念がもともとないので、金を握った手を我先にと伸ばし、相手を押しのけてでかい声でオーダーを通したもの勝ち
だそうな。それでも、
・値段は日本より少し安いくらいで、中国ではぷち高級食の位置
なので、誰でも毎日食えるわけではないらしい。「プチご馳走」なのにその余裕のないオーダーの仕方かぁ…
うーん、「並べない奴らにマック（ファーストフード）はまだ早い」と言いたくなってしまう。
第一そんなオーダーを一々していたら、並んで順番に出してもらったほうがよっぽど「ファスト」だと思うのだが…「誰かを押しのけられれば勝ち」「先に注文されたら負け」って感じなのだろうか。
オリンピックになったら、プレスとか外国人観光客がマックに入店する機会もあるだろう。この現状を見たら腰抜かすのでは？（それ以前にトイレで腰抜かしそうだが）

で、一番笑えるのはこの記事の最後の文で

香港のフェニックス・テレビには「今後、日本製品だけでなく、マックも絶対にボイコットする」との視聴者の声も寄せられた

。

えっ。
一体この一件のどういう関連で「日本製品」ってのが引き出されてくるのやら。
まあ、それだけ「日本製品ボイコット」がデフォルトということなのだろうけどね。
それ以前に、「ああ、やっぱり朝日の記事らしいなあ」ということでもあるのだけどね。
エルメスのビットをかまされたように、あまりにも唐突＆予想してなかったのでちょっとビックリ。
